Local man Elmer Sherwin won the top Megabucks slot machine jackpot worth $21.1 million Thursday night at the Cannery Casino in North Las Vegas. In 1989, Sherwin won $4.6 million from a Megabucks. Then they announced the rest of the winners from 6th place up. I was so excited I called everyone I was here in LV with. Then the announcements were over and I got to go out to the casino and play my freeplay. I played all the different machines from pennys max credits to quarters, dollars, even $5 (which took a few hundred from me).
The D Las Vegas
